OUR PURPOSE

We never know who we have been created to be until we connect with God. There are many people who are living life aimlessly because they have not discovered their purpose in life. Our desire is to be a life-giving church where people are led to discover and fulfill their purpose in Christ. Connecting with God reveals purpose. Many people have a preconceived idea that God only connects with perfect people. That is far from the truth! We desire to help people from all walks of life to connect with their Heavenly Father.

OUR VISION

We lay the tracks to the future city of Connect Church by bridging the gap from the community to the church.  We see Connect Church as a place of restoration, healing, and reconciliation.  We will have academic and athletic programs to build our youth in the community.  We want to feed and clothe those who may go without.  We are the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST

John 14:6,   Acts 4:11-12

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the second part of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth, and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplished salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between God and us. He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit and will return to earth to fulfill prophecy.

New Birth

WE BELIEVE THAT WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN.

2 Corinthians 5:17,  Matthew 16:25

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God’s grace – not human effort – and must be received personally by repentance and faith. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

Baptism

WE BELIEVE THAT WATER BAPTISM IS AN EXPRESSION OF OUR FAITH.

Colossians 2:12

Water baptism is an outward confession of an inward conversion. Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new believer is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
